Abstract

A large number of methods of micobiological investigations permit greater differentiation in studies for determining water quality, with enhances the overall safety of alternative methods based on different measuring techniques. The aim of the project is the achievement of competence in the field of microbiological analytics in the Laboratory of "Wasser Tirol" focused on alternative microbiological methods. In addition to the theoretical and practical training of the staff a comprehensive catalogue of microbiological water investigation techniques was established.
Die Beweggründe für die Durchführung von mikrobiologischen Untersuchungen von Wasser sind vielfältig undv erfolgen unterschiedliche Ziele. Die gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Untersuchungstechniken beruhen auf dem vor über 120 Jahren enwickelten Kulturverfahren.
